Joan Sebastian (born in Juliantla, Guerrero, 8 April 1951 - 13 July 2015) is a popular Mexican singer and songwriter. He has composed hundreds of songs and been a regular staple on the top-40 charts in Mexico since his career began in 1977. His music is a mixture of Latin pop, ranchera and grupera music. His success is not only found in music but also in his short acting career when he became the main protagonist of a Mexican soap opera. Hoobastank est un groupe de punk rock américain originaire de Californie formé en 1994 : pendant «The Battle of The Bands», un célèbre tremplin musical californien destiné aux groupes amateurs, Douglas Robb et Dan Estrin s’affrontent sur scène lors des éliminatoires; puis, impressionnés l’un par l’autre, ils décident de quitter leurs groupes respectifs. Par la suite, le duo se voit rejoindre par Markku Lappalanein puis Chris Heese, formant ainsi le groupe Hoobastank.

Bastille (stylisé en BΔSTILLE) est un groupe de Londres, Angleterre, formé en 2010. Bastille a démarré comme un projet solo du chanteur-compositeur-interprète Dan Smith, qui a décidé plus tard de former un groupe. Le quatuor se compose de Dan Smith, Chris 'Woody' Wood, Will Farquarson et Kyle Simmons. Le nom du groupe vient de la fête nationale française (Bastille Day en anglais) ; le jour de la naissance de Dan Smith.
EMI Music annonça Bastille comme l'une de ses nouvelles recrues pour Virgin Records le 1er décembre 2011. Leur premier album studio, Bad Blood, est sorti le 4 mars 2013...
