Plastic Tree est un groupe de rock japonais qui fit ses débuts en décembre 1993. Tous les membres sont originaires de Chiba, une ville située à l'Est de Tokyo. Le groupe changea plusieurs fois de batteur (Shin, parti en 1994, Takashi en 2001, et Hiroshi en 2009). Compositeur, bassiste et chef d'orchestre allemand né en 1929. Remarqué pour ses talents de bassiste au début des années 50, James Last est connu bien plus pour ses oeuvres de compositeur. Avec son orchestre, il s'est révélé internationalement en 1965, année de sortie de son premier album, Non-Stop Dancing. Sa musique gaie et facilement accessible a fait de Last un père et un pape de l'easy listening. Vendant ses albums par millions, il a été auréolé au cours de sa carrière par 17 disques de platine et 206 disques d'or.Il est décédé ce 9 Juin 2015. .
