The Sneaky Mister es el nuevo proyecto de Judith Shimer, después de la ruptura de la banda Pretty Balanced en 2010 (renombrada como The Alphabeat en 2009).
Judith Shimer hace uso de un estilo muy parecido al de su anterior banda, sigue haciendo uso del piano, cello e incluso ahora se atreve con el ukelele. Su música sigue teniendo ese regusto a música independiente con matices cercanos al de Regina Spektor, aunque podemos decir que se aleja algo del Dark Cabaret que caracterizaba muchas de las canciones de Pretty Balanced. Sneaky Feelings were a 1980s New Zealand pop/rock band, led by Matthew Bannister, who recorded on the Flying Nun label. Initially recording with the line-up of Bannister (guitar), David Pine (guitar), Kat Tyrie (bass) and Martin Durrant (drums), Tyrie was replaced by John Kelcher early in the band's career. Durrant left shortly before the band's demise, and was replaced by Ross Burge.
