l Chuy Vega formó parte del legendario conjunto norteño Los Cadetes De Linares como primera voz. En 1992, Chuy Vega se separa y forma un nuevo grupo, al cual bautiza con el nombre de Chuy Vega y Los Nuevos Cadetes de Linares. Bajo este nombre, lanzan varios discos y logran colocar en la radio numerosos éxitos, entre los cuales sobresalen “Una Página Más”, logrando vender más de un millón de copias y colocándola así en el cancionero popular y en el repertorio de más de 60 artistas quienes la han grabado en estilo banda, mariachi y norteño.
