En 2007, fueron elegidos 5 miembros para formar el grupo Hey! Say! 7, debutando con un single donde su canción principal fue utilizada para el anime "Lovely Complex". Más adelante se anuncia que el mismo grupo debutaría oficialmente bajo otro nombre y se añadirían más miembros.

EE Jump was a Jpop duo made up of Sonim and Goto Yuuki (Maki Goto's younger brother). The group proved to be very quirky and sometimes downright weird, but their combination of pop/opera/rap/hillbilly-music proved to be very popular.
After Yuuki was caught in a bar underage, he was to take a 3-month leave from the group. During this time Sonim released a single as EE Jump featuring Sonim which was EE Jump's most successful single. She released one more single before the band officially disbanded. .
