Malcolm Robert Andrew McLaren (22 January 1946 – 8 April 2010). In the late '60's he started designing clothes and in 1972 he opened a boutique in London with his girlfriend, Vivienne Westwood. Jim Moray is one of the most consistently inventive musicians working in folk music today. After three ground-breaking and award-winning albums – 2003’s BBC Radio2 Folk Album of Year ‘Sweet England’, ‘Jim Moray’ in 2006 and fRoots Critics Poll and Mojo Folk Album of the Year winner ‘Low Culture’ in 2008 - he now finds himself at the forefront of a new folk revival in the UK, and hailed as a pivotal influence by a new generation of folk musicians while still only being in his 20s himself. .

Moray Eel was a band from Russia founded in 1998. The music of Moray Eel is hard to categorize, with elements of alternative metal, thrash metal and metalcore. The highlight of the band is unusual female vocals of Kate Moray ranging from “clear” singing to harsh “screaming” and “growling”. Moray McLaren is a Scottish singer-songwriter, born and raised in Edinburgh. When a disk of Moray's rough recordings fell into the hands of producer Jonathan Shakhovskoy (U2, Patrick Wolf), he suggested they make an EP together. The six song collection, 'Unknown', was released at the end of 2008 garnering rave reviews, radio play and an invitation to collaborate on a major motion picture soundtrack. The pair are currently working on Moray's debut album to be released on Lash Records this summer. Moray now lives in London. .
