Eric Mariental, nacido en Sacramento (California) el 19 de Diciembre de 1957. Saxofonista virtuoso, estudió música en la prestigiosa Berkeley School y estuvo dos años en el grupo del trompetista Al Hirt. Su época dorada como músico la alcanzó en 1986 cuando formó parte de la extraordinaria formación liderada por el pianista Chick Corea: "Chick Corea Elektric Band". En el seno de esa formación compuesta además de por Chick Corea en los teclados, por John Patitucci al bajo, Frank Gámbale a la guitarra, y Dave Weckl a la batería -además del propio Eric Marienthal en el saxo- grabó entre 1986...
Marietta Fafouti was already 15 when she first laid her fingers on the piano.
