Insecticide was started in 1986 by Brian Smith and Sherman Jones and went on to have a handful of drummers until Rich Rowen (Beowulf/Danzig) joined in 1988 Insecticide proceeded to tour on the first 2 demos, this was unheard of at that time!
Insecticide plays all over USA/MEXICO/CANADA and has opened for Gwar, MOD, Excel, Dr Know and many more!!!
Insecticide has since re-released there Demo's along with the 1990 album on Blower Records in 2007 and will record a CD of new material in 2008 along with a DVD filmed in Mexico City in November 2007.

Una de las bandas más representativas de la escena del metal sueco. Formados en 1988 como una banda de Thrash metal llamada Siren's Yell, pasaron a llamarse Dissection en 1989. Gran banda con un sello propio que con solo dos discos, "The Somberlain" y "Storm Of The Light's Bane", ambos considerados de culto, sobre todo el segundo, que consiguió hacerse un hueco en la escena black/death.
Su líder Jon Nödtveidt, fue encarcelado en 1997 por el asesinato de un homosexual de 38 años, con lo que la banda estuvo disuelta hasta su salida de prisión en el 2004. Se rehizo...
The Delta Rhythm Section features players from the James Taylor Quartet; Neil Robinson, Jay Glover, Dominic Green and Gary Crockett. The band have released some 7" singles on Mocambo and one library released album called Old School Classics. .

The Section was an American rock band formed in the early 1970s encompassing both studio and stage work by musicians Danny Kortchmar, Craig Doerge, Leland Sklar, and Russ Kunkel. Their work defined the easy-listening sound of the 1970s mellow mafia centered in Los Angeles; their ubiquity on the records of artists signed to Asylum Records made them the label's de facto house band.
They appeared together and individually on albums by Crosby & Nash, James Taylor, Carole King and Jackson Browne, and acted as back-up band on their tours. The Section released three mostly instrumental albums.
