Et tu Brute originated in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts as 4 piece band. Later their drummer would be replaced and would grow into a 5 piece adding a third guitarist. Their music is heavily influenced by early post hardcore bands and instrumental bands like Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Mono.
