Gorky's Zygotic Mynci es una banda galesa formada en 1990 y cuya trayectoria de 16 años ha terminado en mayo del 2006. Su suave y melódica mezcla de psicodelia, rock progresivo y pop, colaboraciones poco ortodoxas, estructuras y combinaciones instrumentales les han granjeado seguidores de ambos lados del Atlántico, sin olvidar sus poco convencionales letras. Sus tres primeros álbumes indie son: "Tatay", "Bwyd Time" y "Llanfwrog/Patio", editados originalmente con Ankst, se han reeditado en el 2006. El grupo también ha lanzado 5 álbumes con Mercury, el último de ellos "Sleep/Holiday" en el 2003. .

The group was founded in the autumn of 1992, in Timisoara (Romania). The first album, called “Catehism”, was released in January 1994. The lyrics were influenced by the Romanian “damned” poet George Bacovia. After a few changes in the lineup, Arc Gotic began in 1996 the work on a new album, “Decadent”, which was recorded in the winter of 1997 and released in June 1998. This was the first title of a new underground label from Timisoara - Htonian Records.
