Die Band Box Car Racer bestand von 2002 bis 2003 und hatte die Mitglieder Tom DeLonge (Gitarrist, Sänger und Songwriter), Travis Barker (Schlagzeug) - beide von der amerikanischen Punkband blink-182 - sowie David Kennedy (Gitarre) von Over My Dead Body und Anthony Celestino (E-Bass) von Probably A Load.
Im Vergleich zu blink-182 besingen Box Car Racer eher ernstere und nachdenklichere Themen, welche wohl auf die Geburt von Tom DeLonges Tochter zurückzuführen sind. 2002 entstand das Album "Box Car Racer". Ende 2003 erklärte DeLonge, dass die Band sich aufgelöst habe.

Ten and Tracer is Jonathan Canupp. He was born in Boulder, Colorado a while ago.
