The Human League ist eine britische New-Wave-Band, die vor allem durch ihren Hit „Don't You Want Me“ im Jahr 1981 bekannt wurde. Sie zählt zu den Wegbereitern der elektronischen Popmusik. Die Anfangsjahre (1977-80) Nach einigen frühen musikalischen Versuchen in der experimentellen Sheffielder Musikszene gründen Martyn Ware und Ian Craig Marsh im Juni 1977 die Band The Future. Guildean Gang are an alternative band from Bedfordshire. Often described as somewhere in-between 'The Cure' and 'Sonic Youth', slowly gaining a reputation for combining abrasive guitar parts with dream-like keys. The 4 piece have been creating together since late '06. The name of the band was based on the house name of which Olly the guitarist lived in during college - 'Guildean'.
