Pakvietė į komandą puikų aranžuotoją melodijų kūrėją Andrių Kulikauską, kuris jau buvo vadovavęs filharmonijos ansambliui “Vilniaus aidai“, Marijų Šnarą, taip pat pirmosios bangos bardą, ir ši grandis laikėsi ant vienos ašies. Buvo mėginama vaizdais ir veiksmais įprasminti muziką. Debiutinė “Dainos teatro“ programa “Kur giria žaliuoja“ daugiausia buvo užpildyta lietuvių bardų (dainių) kūryba – išplėtota, orkestruota, profesionaliai pritaikyta atlikti dideliam sąstatui.
