Sylvie Vartan, eigentlich Sylvia Vartanian (Wartanjan) (* 15. August 1944 in Iskretz, Bulgarien) ist eine populäre französische Chanson- und Pop-Sängerin sowie Schauspielerin bulgarisch-armenischer Herkunft. Sie ist die Schwester des Musikers Eddie Vartan (1937-2001) welcher unter anderm auch mit zahlreichen Arrangements und Kompositionen zu ihrer Karriere beitrug. Daneben ist sie die Tante des Schauspielers Michael Vartan und die Ex-Frau des französischen Rockmusikers "Heulboje" Johnny Hallyday. Seit 1984 ist sie mit dem US-amerikanischen TV-Unternehmer Tony Scotti verheiratet mit welchem sie ein bulgarisches Waisenkind adoptiert hat.
