Instrumental black metal / depressive rock band formed in 2004 by SelfM (Défaillance, Ethere et cetera). After releasing a total of four demo recordings and a split with Aurvandil the project was put to rest.

Tin Spirits first got together in Swindon UK in the summer of 2008, when Daniel Steinhardt from TheGigRig invited former XTC guitarist (and musical hero) Dave Gregory to a local studio to video record an 'amp shoot-out' with Dan's band The Hi-Fidels, comprising bassist Mark Kilminster and drummer Doug Mussard.
All enjoyed the experience so much they decided to take things a stage further and rehearse some of the more challenging music they'd grown up listening to but never had the chance to perform.
Tin Spirits soon assembled a strong repertoire of guitar-orientated prog covers, together with a few XTC...
High Spirits ist eine US-amerikanische Heavy-Metal-Band aus Chicago, Illinois mit Einflüssen aus Classic Rock und der New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Sie wurde im Jahr 2009 von Chris Black gegründet, der zuvor unter anderem schon bei den Bands Nachtmystium, Pharaoh und Dawnbringer in Erscheinung getreten war. Er gründete die Band nach eigenen Angaben aus einer „Schnapsidee” heraus als „kleine Nebenbeschäftigung”, weil er „vom Zustand der hiesigen “Szene” [gelangweilt war]”.
