Skinny ist ein britisches Musikprojekt, welches es auf nur zwei Alben gebracht hat, die jedoch beide sehr spannend und zeitgeistig für die späten Neunziger waren. Das Projekt bewegte sich im Dunstkreis der Erfolgsband "Faithless" und erschien auch auf dem gleichen Label "Cheeky Records". Die raffinierte und samplereiche Mischung aus Trip-Hop, Bigbeat und klassischem Songwriting, immer mit einer ironisch-fröhlichen Komponente versehen, klingt auch durchaus in vielen Punkten stark nach Faithless, ist aber weniger Synthesizer-lastig und nicht so eindeutig auf Tanzbarkeit ausgelegt. .
