Simply Red ist eine britische Band, die 1984 gegründet wurde. Sie setzt sich aus Frontman und Sänger Mick Hucknall sowie diversen, zum Teil wechselnden, weiteren Musikern zusammen.
Ende Oktober 2007 gab Mick Hucknall bekannt, dass sich die Gruppe nach Absolvierung der anstehenden Tournee im Jahr 2010 auflösen und er als Solokünstler weiterarbeiten werde. Im November 2014 kündigte Hucknall jedoch überraschend an, mit Simply Red noch einmal auf Welttournee zu gehen.
Simply Red haben bisher etwa 50 Millionen Tonträger verkauft.
