Una Ramos, geb, am 27. Mai 1933 in Humahuaca (Argentinien) ist ein Antara- und Quena-Spieler (indianische Panflöte und indianische Langflöte).
Schon als Kind lehrte ihn sein Vater das Flötenspiel, als Jugendlicher studierte er am Konversatorium in Santiago del Estero.
1972 kam er nach Paris von wo aus er eine weltweilt erfolgreiche Karriere startete. Unter anderem ging er gemeinsam mit Paul Simon auf Tournee.
Una Ramos ist mittlerweile französischer Staatsbürger und lebt abwechselnd in Paris und der Provence.
Sein großes Anliegen ist es, die jahrhunderte alte Musikkultur der südamerikanischen Andenindianer lebendig, frisch und aktuell zu erhalten und nicht in puristischem Traditionalismus...
