Horna ist eine finnische Black-Metal-Band. Der Name stammt aus dem Finnischen und kann als Hölle oder Abgrund übersetzt werden. Die vom Gitarristen Shatraug verfassten Texte sind ausschließlich in finnischer Sprache verfasst. Geschichte Die Band war 1993 von Shatraug und Moredhel (Jyri Vahvanen, der spätere Gründer von Battlelore) gegründet worden, als Schlagzeuger Gorthaur ein Jahr später hinzustieß. Dies bildete die Besetzung für die erste Demoaufnahme, die 1995 unter dem Namen Varjoissa (finnisch: "In den Schatten") erschien. Philip Carden Thornalley was born in Worlington, Suffolk, England on January 5th, 1960. Phil was the producer for The Cure on their fourth album, Pornography. After Simon Gallup quit in 1982, he filled in as their bassist during the recording of Japanese Whispers, which he also helped produce as well, and The Cure's first live album, Concert. Robert Smith would later cite his work for engineering with The Psychedelic Furs as the motivation for their choice in Thornalley.
