Kalomira (griechisch Καλομοίρα, * 31. Januar 1985 in West Hempstead, New York; eigentlich Marie Carol Sarantis), alternative Transkription Kalomoira, ist eine griechisch-amerikanische Sängerin. Sie vertrat Griechenland beim Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrad.
Biografie
Kalomira wurde 1985 als Marie Carol Sarantis im US-Bundesstaat New York geboren. Die Tochter zweier griechisch-amerikanischer Restaurantbesitzer wuchs in Nassau County gemeinsam mit ihrer Schwester auf. Schon in ihrer Jugend begeisterte sich Kalomira für die Musik. So spielte sie neun Jahre lang Bratsche und erschien in schuleigenen Theater- und Musicalinszenierungen, in denen sie sang und tanzte. O Bokaloka surgiu no ano de 1995 com o nome de "Água na boca", e era formado por Renatinho (vocalista), Toninho Branco (cavaco), Leandro (pandeiro), Layse (percussão), Robinho (bateria), Pedro Py (teclado), Marcelo (baixo) e Bidú (surdo). Em 1997 lançou o seu primeiro CD "você vai se amarrar" (Indie Records) sendo, "Mais uma Chance", a primeira música de trabalho. Em 1998 o segundo CD "Apaixonado" com as músicas "Apaixonado" e "shortinho saint tropez".
Em 1999 o terceiro CD "Bokaloka" pela EMI, sendo "Duas Paixões" a música de trabalho.

Clue to Kalo is a folktronica band from Adelaide, Australia, featuring musician Mark Mitchell and a revolving cast of supporting musicians.
They have toured with Her Space Holiday and Architecture in Helsinki.
Mark relocated to Melbourne, Victoria, in 2010. His upcoming fourth album is the first to be recorded outside his bedroom.
