Multiple acts share the name Frisky. One, Jazz band based in Perth, led by Steve Elkins. Another, a disco act that released a lone, eponymous, album in 1978. The four track LP was produced by Moses Dillard and Jesse Boyce, a prominent duo in the disco genre who created such studio projects such as The Saturday Night Band, Constellation Orchestra and produced songs for singers such as Lorraine Johnson. There are several musical projects with the name Asterisk. The first: Asterisk (or “A*” as they have been called occasionally) was formed in Umeå, Sweden out of pure boredom in the autumn of ’99 (possibly the only grindcore band to ever arise from that area).
