This genus is native to the Northern hemisphere, and includes species extending from the cold latitudes of Olympia, WA and Long Island, NY. Oaks is a indie rock duo from Minneapolis,MN. Twin Oaks is a Los Angeles-based band formed by Lauren Brown and Aaron Domingo. Spending their early days as a bedroom folk act in 2011, Twin Oaks began as an acoustic outlet for Aaron before pitching his songs to Lauren to sing as backing vocalist. Brown's vocals began to better suit the songs and singing roles switched, allowing Domingo to focus primarily on instrumentation.
