There are at least four bands named The Interpreters. The first, a 60's power pop revival band from Philadelphia, only released one album, Back in the U.S.S.A., in 1998. They performed at the 2000 Republican National Convention in Philadelphia. The second band named The Interpreters are a band from Norwich in Norfolk, England. they fully formed in 2005 . Since then they have supported bands such as The Holloways, The Rascals, The Sugars and more and are set to release their debut single in January 2009.
