“The Koalas are known to be friendly and peaceful creatures. The truth is that they can be very rebellious. A new breed of urban immigrant koalas, called “KOALAS DESPERADOS”, loves next to eucalyptus especially phatt beats and breaking the rules! These Koalas go from time to time on a pilgrimage to a secret place in an urban jungle. Kalas was a San Francisco area band formed by members and former members of Sleep, High on Fire, Econochrist, Grimple, Samiam, Eldopa, Medication Time and Cruevo in 2003. A demo was recorded at the West Oakland home of Ear Hammer studios, and was made available as free streaming or downloaded material on the web. In response to the demo, Kalas fielded offers from a handful of independent record labels. There are at least two music groups under the name 'Aviators': 1. An independent electronic music project created in Vermont, USA by Tyler Shaw in early 2011. Being skilled in music theory after 8 years of violin lessons and teaching himself how to play the guitar, he created his first EP, Never Say Forever, using the digital audio workstation GarageBand, but removed it later, due to his lacking production skills at the time. The Graviators formed in the woods outside Karlshamn, Sweden, with a vision to write and record music inspired by the sounds of the great rock n roll groups of the 70's. Seeing as rock n roll is dead today as we know it, the band hope to provide a spark in the dark.
